New Unique Design in Path of Exile

I swear people who design uniques and people who chase items in PoE are very different people. Personally I'm a little bored of the uniques that are like stack x stat = get some Path of Exile currency, since it's very easy how to build the character and there isn't much creativity involved with the builder. I'm a much bigger fan of uniques like the rat cage, as you have to be creative with how to manage the downside and potentially use it as a buff.

f:id:wangela318:20171209175315p:plain

I'm not sure what he was even going for... a little better Pillar of the caged god viability or trying to make Iron will and Iron grip pay off a TINY bit more at the expense of:

  • 100-130 life
  • 60-90% resists
  • Higher armor base
  • -10 move speed
  • Looks like a chest that was designed for a staff build.

This actually enables Duskdawn way more than was possible in the past, because it's extremely hard to get staff block. That's 12% crit multi as well as 12% block, and you won't need to worry about blocking spell reflect as much now. This also adds melee phys to something like hegemony's era.

Unfortunately, based off the uniques we know so far, I don't think it's amazing. If you have sufficient life to survive without any life on your chest, this chest is REALLY good, but having that is really hard. And as I said -- this looks like a staff build chest, but staves just aren't getting enough love, whether it be through ascendencies or nodes on the tree. I mean shit, gladiator's small nodes even specify "block while holding shield or dual wielding".

The best use this chest probably has is making a Grandmaster for HoGM to kill people trying to run it. This makes making max block builds easier for PvP without sacrificing nearly as much damage. The downside being that there's already these builds in HoGM - this will just probably put out more damage while doing the same as the other builds.

I think this chest might sneak it's way into some decent builds at some point somehow though. But we're in a movement skill meta and leap slam doesn't cut it - not on a 2 hander, especially as a caster. The build will put out decent damage and have pretty decent defensive abilities, but it will be slow more than likely.

And yeah, no spell block sucks, but you can get away without it. Same way you don't need to take Phase Acro if you take Acro.

Most likely use for PvE is either Xirgil's hybrid occultist or some sort of Duskdawn build.

The Priority for The Path of Exile Loot

Path of Exile is all about the PoE items and how they can enrich your experience, so it stands to reason that you pick up the loot that gets dropped by the monsters you kill. However, with limited time and inventory space, you can't possibly pick them all up every time, so you will have to get your loot priorities straight and pick up what will be most useful.

Top Priority
Whatever, the forms of Path of Exile Currency, unique items, quality skill gems, and three-color links should be picked up. Generally, whether for equipment or trading, these are the most valuable poe items as they add value to your character. Most of them are easy to know, including the 3-color link socketed items that are composed of green, red, and blue sockets.

Although, quality skill gems are not obvious, especially for new players as they have skill gems already that have been leveled up quite a lot. But quality skill gems are quite valuable and players should gather without hesitation. For using, even when under leveled, they perform better than normal skill gems.
image

High Priority
Not as necessary as the top priority items, they are very valuable and should be picked up when you have the opportunity, such as rare items (PoE Exalted Orbs), max implicit items, high links, and non-quest skill gems. When you pick up them, you can either use them or trade them, both of which should get good results.

High links are 5-link and 6-link items that you can pick up, and 4-link ones are only necessary if there's nothing else better. The 6-links are rare enough, so remember to grab them no matter what. With max implicit items, make the same as implicit values independent from other stat bonuses, which give perfect implicit mods a quite high value in PoE.

Medium Priority
It is not important to compare with the above ones, they should be picked up if necessary. Magic flasks, advanced flasks, and irregularly colored sockets items form this middle tier, which seems to be the utility. The socketed items are those socketed items who have not been linked, in order to make use of gems, they have to make with these socketed items. When they start to get linked socketed items, they become for vendor recipes. The flasks are useful, but they really don't deplete much, so not as much demand for them.

Low Priority
There’s something else that you can ignore, such as white items without sockets, blue items, and quest skill gems. Usually, they are not worth the trouble for reasons that are enough in the long run. While they are useful for players who may know nothing about the game. For the most part, they are learning tools for beginners to ease them into the game.

The Best Ways to Get Unique Items in Path of Exile

There are many different features that make Path of Exile unique to other action MMORPGS. The biggest differences are poe items and Path of Exile currency. Most games in this genre allow players to use gold to trade and purchase items from other players and vendors. One of the another features is the unique Path of Exile Items in the game. For the players who just join into the PoE, unique PoE items are an assembly of various things that should be collected during the game.

PoE Unique Items
The unique items that are a selection and are developed with the game of things, specific names, and modifiers. These special PoE items are characterized by an orange
text and an orange banner. These unique items are paired with every base PoE Currency in the game as they are designed to improve the gameplay and have special
characters builds based on them.

Though unique items are a good collection for PoE players, players should know that the unique items are not designed to be more powerful than the rare and special
items which can be found when they reach higher levels in the game.

Additionally, the unique items have different mod values. Exalted Orb can be used for leveling your attribute. For unique items, Blessed and Divine Orbs can be used to
reroll the mod value, but some unique items have static mod values, which cannot be rerolled or changed. Players should pay attention that the **Orbs of Scouring **and
Mirrors of Kalandra cannot be used to reroll the mod values of any unique item.

Ways to Obtain Unique Items
For those players who plan to add more unique items into their collection, GGG has developed many ways for players to get unique items in PoE.

As players move forward in the game, World Drops is the most customary method of earning unique items. From time to time, monsters drop unique items in the gameplay.
Each unique item has an item level that is equivalent to the monster level that has dropped the item. Meanwhile, these drops are divided into classes or are arranged
in strata, so there is no exact drop rate for the unique items in PoE.

Unique items can be conjured by a specific Vendor Recipe, but the item levels will be equal to the lowest level components of the Vendor Recipe. Unique items can be
earned as top-tier prizes on Event Competitions, but players should clear that not all Competitions offer unique items as prizes. The method of getting unique items is
by using a Vendor Recipe. For more Path of Exile news, you can visit: https://www.gm2v.com/

Arcane Archer Build in Path of Exile

In action role-playing games, the role of space and distance in combat is a determinant of what a character can and cannot do. The good thing about ranged characters is that they can avoid damage better while delivering damage, although not in the same intensity as a melee character that can do so while facing relatively greater peril. Path of Exile has a character build that takes ranged combat and transforms it into something flashier and more exciting.

f:id:wangela318:20171130174042j:plain

As far as ranged combat is concerned, it may be the best of both worlds, but some think that it's excessive to have two modes attack in the same distances. However, it's the unique concept behind the Arcane Archer build that makes it worth trying out. Though this build doesn't make use of the Ranger and Witch, it's really a magic character that uses a bow than an archer that happens to use magic. If you want to make this build fast, you can try to use Path of Exile Currency for help.

You deal chaos damage is what makes this build great, which guarantees you face a lot of enemies with resistances against what you have to dish out. Because chaos damage ignores shields and reduces life accordingly, there are fewer enemies that can stand against you. It can’t be reflected, so you don’t need to worry about coming across something that ability and fear being fed.

The Voltaxic Rift unique bow is the main point of this build, which converts 100% of lightning damage into chaos damage, so you can use gems to shock and deal chaos damage to kill enemies in front of you, such as Arc. Or use PoE Exalted orbs to increase your attribution. You can use other skills if you wish, but it's the efficacy and consistency of Arc that gives this punch needs and deserves. While Voltaxic Rift is a uniquely powerful weapon that can carry the day, it should not work alone in this build.

You can give up mitigation options like elemental flasks totems and concentrate on piling on the power with outright damage and critical strikes as chaos damage doesn't get reflected. The thing is that the bow needs your character to have a substantial amount of Dexterity, but that's where the other Path of Exile Items come into help. If you feel daring, you can wear Tabula Rasa and put the Arc gem, then put Herald of Thunder on the bow.
image

As for the bow itself, there are Warlord's Mark, Life Leech, Curse on Hit, Assassin’s Mark, and Arctic Armour to go with Arc. As you know, another trick up this build's sleeve is the ability to curse. In fact, it can dual curse automatically when a shocked enemy is killed and can cast Frost Walls in front of enemies so that you can deal large numbers against you.

This is one of those build that really try to be unique in both concept and practicality at the same time. To think that you can play a spell caster like a ranger and do well with it, that's not usual in other games. But in Path of Exile, such possibilities are not far from reality at all.For more about path of exile news, you can visit GM2V.com.

The Latest Update of the Path of Exile

Path of Exile was released October 23, 2013 year, and certainly since that time a lot has changed in him. It was not given to me, but to experience it, because his adventure with the game began a few months ago from the beta on Xbox One , that after the transfer to the desktop version. I spent a total of diablopodobnym work studio Grinding Gear Games tens of hours, and its discovery until four years after the premiere turned out to be real pleasure.

In the past few days, we are discussing the War for the Atlas. The Path of Exile is an action game and the economy in Path of Exile is different from other MMORPGs. You do not need gold to buy things, but you can exchange the items in PoE Currency. Even though War for the Atlas, the upcoming expansion for Path of Exile is scheduled for a December 8 release, it appears the studio behind the Action-RPG, Grinding Gear Games, is already prepping the ground work for the expansion.

A new update for Path of Exile is now available on the PC platform. While the changelog, which you can view below, is rather small, it should be noted that the rather large patch file is to ensure the Path Of Exile player base won’t have to download large files come December 8.

3.0.3b change log

Fixed various issues with Templar armour visuals introduced in 3.0.3.

Fixed various visual issues with War for the Atlas supporter pack portals.

Fixed sizing issues with War for the Atlas portrait frames when viewed in 4k resolution.

Fixed clipping issues with the Seeker Cloak.

Fixed a client crash with the low mana tutorial.

New patch aside, the past few days for Grinding Gear Games has also been quite busy, as they’ve been showcasing some of the new content that will go live once War for the Atlas is available. The studio is showcasing a new boss that can be found in act 9, Shakari ,and revealing numerous changes to corpse skills.

Expect more news regarding Path of Exile soon. I will keep updating,as details of the Abyss league is set to be revealed sometime this week, read more

What's Your Go to Currency Farmer at PoE League Start?

As a loyal lover of PoE. I find I have a lot of problems generating real PoE currency during the early days of the league when seemingly this is one of the best times.

Uber Farmer
Slayer got buffed with VP nerf so a good easy starter. Sunder as main skill.
IIQ farmer
Windripper currency farmer you can focus on just getting gear+wind ripper to farm T1-T10 for drops as fast as possible. This is the build you gotta be mapping fast and efficiently for the best returns. Short of gear breaking T10 maps a 6l windripper and biscos will be the two big core items. But I think you can get away with 5L no problem or even tabula.

Build I plan to use as a starter for 3.1.
Crafting for the meta
Not a build exactly. But knowing what jewelry is going to big in the meta helps a lot. My guess would Phys anything will be big seeing how strong slayer is now. So crafting two stone rings or amulets that give a mixture of int/dex or int/str is what I did for the race. Despite no exalt drops for me I was still using 20+ex in gear for a sunder character. So the amount of time you put into understand crafting I think you get a great return in knowing what will sell and what won't.

Lots of streamers make good guides to this. I personally prefer Ziz he makes decent entry level crafting guides for each update. Obviously this is pretty bare bones and won't help most veteran players but there are plenty of more in depth guides out there you can find. This is aimed strictly at beginners.

Leveling Quickly
Go at your own pace and enjoy the game. However if your sole desire is to make currency so you can chase whatever it is you desire. Learn how to to get to end game at a reasonable pace. I am not good at the game mechanically by any means. But from watching certain streamers I learned a good deal on how to make my leveling process smooth. Now I often party to level up as you split up and finished quest lines and split objectives much easier. Getting to end game (Maps/uber/bosses) by day 1 is hard but rewarding. Decent rolls on rares will fetch you good amounts of currency and the more you play after that point the better it gets. I would not suggest this for new players or even some veterans. I find for me at least playing like this can cause you to burn out on a league. Maybe that was just me. You do you boo.

Engineering eternity is a newer content creator. But it is extremely high quality and easy to digest. I really suggest it to anyone veteran or new.

Mathil or Streamer effect
If Mathil or another popular streamer is doing a build chances are the unique's required will be more expensive than normal. So by streamers bringing well built builds to the spotlight the items become more desired. I bought a few mortum claws in legacy to test this and got triple what I payed so I guest the meme is real. In all seriousness this a speculative gamble at the end of the day. But for me the streamer or Mathil effect has been real.

Price Checking
Honestly knowing how to price an item properly and avoiding the less sportsmanlike flippers and price fixers goes a long way. I remember being scammed out of many valuable items over the years as I learned the game. Its part of the POE trade experience and something you gotta learn.
If you have a better suggestion, please leave your opinion.

The Endgame of the Path of Exile Will Be Broken By the New Expansion

Having received its last expansion in August, Grinding Gear Games continue providing content to Path of Exile with the publication of War of the Atlas , an unprecedented shed new elements that will bring many more hours of entertainment who is is within the confines of his magnum opus , whose magnitude will expand, this time, from the largest to date form.

f:id:wangela318:20171118171508j:plain

A massive expansion that has completely renovated the leveling experience by introducing six new acts to deal with. It was a complete turning point. The next expansion of Path of Exile, as told by the lead designer Chris Wilson, will not be so big - at least not in terms of size - it will shake the other side of the coin of Path of Exile: the endgame.

"With Fall of Oriath we focused on the plot, providing only small improvements endgame. Now we are focusing totally on that. "

For those who are not aware of how the final Path of Exile, it focuses largely on the Atlas of Worlds, a massive network of randomly generated maps that become more difficult as you progress. During the game, the monsters can release a map that can be brought to a special device used to summon a portal where you or friends can travel. These maps, like objects, have random properties that dictate the type of monsters you meet, limit or enhance your skills and much more. Style Diablo openings short.

Eventually, players will be able to cross the Atlas to the last four maps, each protected by a powerful Guardian. Kill one of them allows you to get The Shaper, the Cthulhu universe of Path of Exile. All this until the 8th of December, the War for the Atlas launch date .

War for the Atlas renews the entire system by introducing 32 new maps, a new layout and a new threat to the Atlas: The Elder. Although they share a vaguely similar name, The Elder and The Shapers are at war and you have to decide which one will win. Wilson is not willing to disclose a lot of information on the reason for all this, for it is a mystery on which the community will have to work together to solve it

When you begin to explore the Atlas of Worlds, you will see stained map portions from The Shaper or The Elder. These are manifested physically in the level, adding more challenges to face. For example, the servants of The Elder are tentacled beasts that weaken the character. Every time you complete a map, the Elder stain or Shaper spreads like mold to new maps, and it's up to you to try to control it. Completing the maps with a spot of Elder or Shaper, the ripulirai, allowing the other to move and take it. Players can choose to destroy one or the other or try to prevent both the spread and conquer the entire Atlas.
